High Energy. Hard Working.

Formed in 2008 by four college students, Furlough Fridays has become a fixture in the local music scene of Northern, CA. They are widely known for a familiar yet original “post grunge rock” sound, opening for such acts as Floater, Unwritten Law, Buckcherry, and Halestorm. In Spring of 2013 the band won both the local and regional Hard Rock Battle of the Bands in South Lake Tahoe. They were also voted “Best Rock Act” by the Chico Area Music Awards (CAMMIES).

Furlough Fridays have continued to bring fun and energy to the stage, working hard to maintain a steady flow of new music, throughout the years. They just recently released a new single “Dead Air,” the first of a three-part series, all of which will be featured on their upcoming album, expected to be released early 2026.
